February 15, 2008 It was my good fortune to have Jane Logan represent me as my realtor during the recent sale of my home. I came to know Jane in September 2000 when she was my realtor during the purchase of the same home. Jane provided me with a detailed yet simple analysis of the current market conditions in my immediate area. She quickly and professionally answered the many questions I had during the weeks preceding the listing of my home. Jane offered many suggestions to help make my home show extremely well for viewings, which I used to my advantage. She provided pamphlets with colour photographs and details of my home which were available to potential buyers. Jane was very meticulous, explaining all the documentation so that it made sense to me. I felt I could approach her at anytime with any questions. Jane is an experienced, knowledgeable and friendly real estate agent. Her hard work and professionalism played a large part in my home selling quickly for a price I was very happy with. Before selecting a realtor, I interviewed a number of individuals.  All of the agents I spoke with were professional and personable, but Jane made a particular impression on me.  I think this was because at our our initial meeting it was clear she'd done a lot of research and was hardworking and thorough.  It was also because of her generosity of spirit.  One agent said he had a lot of great advice to offer that would get me top dollar for my house, but he'd only give me this advice when I'd signed on the dotted line.  On the other hand, soon after our initial meeting, Jane arranged for someone to come through my house and give me professional advice on how to fix up my place, with no obligation.   As I got to know Jane better I also became confident that together we could go through the inevitable stresses of selling and then buying a place.  This may sound like a small thing, but as I imagined the pressure of putting my house on the market and then the hours and hours of house hunting to find a new place, I wanted to be sure that I would be spending time with someone who would be patient with me and who wouldn't get on my nerves.  Jane proved to be diplomatic and thoughtful, picky and forgiving at all the right moments.  I was also impressed with her ability to deliver both good and difficult news to me and to the other individuals we communicated with during our transactions. I don't imagine that anyone really looks forward to selling their home or, for that matter, to trying to buy a place in this year's frantic market.  Both the sale and the purchase went surprisingly smoothly with Jane's help, which, after all, is what you hope for when you hire an agent. It is with the greatest pleasure that I write to commend Jane Logan for her outstanding professionalism and courtesy. I worked with Jane for close to two years in an effort to find a home on Vancouver Island, knowing that my husband and I would be coming to join our family here. Jane was always the consummate professional, while being courteous and friendly. She had endless patience with my various iterations of the type of home I thought we would search for, and the level of service she provided was truly awesome! I lived over a thousand miles away and on a weekly basis Jane sent me information via the internet about homes that were currently on the market and in which she thought I might have some interest. We corresponded constantly by e-mail and she worked closely with my daughter who was already living in the Victoria area, taking her to look at homes that appeared to me (via the internet) to be of interest. No question was left unanswered and nothing was too much trouble for Jane. I really appreciated her time and the personal interest she took in my search for "the right house". On several occasions Jane had the integrity to say to me (when I expressed interest in a house) "I don't think that you would like this particular house since it does not have the features you have indicated are important to you". She was always right and we had such an excellent working relationship that toward the end of the search, we would walk into a house and Jane would know immediately that it was not the right one. Jane finally found us a lovely home and even after the sale was made, she continued to provide us with very personalized service until we arrived on Vancouver Island.
